Piyapas Bhirombhakdi
''Mom Luang'' Piyapas Bhirombhakdi ( th, หม่อมหลวงปิยาภัสร์ ภิรมย์ภักดี , née Kridakorn ; born 8 May 1962) is a Thai actress, primarily known for playing Queen Suriyothai in the 2001 movie ''The Legend of Suriyothai''. Piyapas is a great-granddaughter of Prince Nares Varariddhi, who was a son of King Mongkut. This distant royal descent is reflected by her title ''Mom Luang''. Her father, M. R. Yongsawat Kridakorn, was a deputy director of the Crown Property Bureau. Her mother, Wiyada Kridakorn Na Ayudhya, was a lady-in-waiting to Queen Sirikit. Her nickname is "Khun Ton" (). Piyapas went to Chulalongkorn University demonstration school and Chitralada School (the school attended by children of the Thai royal family). Chulalongkorn University (CU, th, จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย, ), nicknamed Chula ( th, จุฬาฯ), is a public and autonomous research university in Bangkok, Thailand. The Democrat Party ( th, พรรคประชาธิปัตย์; ) is a Thai political party. The oldest party in Thailand, it was founded as a royalist party, and now upholds a conservative and pro-market position. The Democrat Party made its best showings in parliament in 1948, 1976, and 1996. It has never won an outright parliamentary majority. The party's electoral support bases are southern Thailand and Bangkok, although election results in Bangkok have fluctuated widely. Boon Rawd Brewery ( th, บริษัท บุญรอดบริวเวอรี่ จำกัด) is a well-known Thai brewery founded in 1933 by Phraya Bhirom Bhakdi (Boonrawd Sreshthaputra). It also produces soft drinks and bottled drinking water. Their best-known product is the pale lager Singha. History Boon Rawd Brewery was the first to open in Thailand and produces its beer under the brand name of Singha. It was founded in the early 1930s by Boonrawd Sreshthaputra, who had received the title of Phraya Bhirom Bhakdi from HM King Prajadhipok. The brewery remains under the management of his descendants, who use Bhirom Bhakdi as their family name. Queen Sirikit ( th, สิริกิติ์; ; ); born ''Mom Rajawongse'' Sirikit Kitiyakara ( th, สิริกิติ์ กิติยากร; ; 12 August 1932) is the queen mother of Thailand.
