Piyal Wijetunge
Piyal Kashyapa Wijetunge (born 6 August 1971) is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who played in one Test match in 1993. Though he was not successful in the international arena, he was an active member in the domestic arena, where he played 65 first class matches and took 161 wickets as well. He was born at Badulla in 1971. He has served as a spin bowling coach for the Sri Lanka national team, where he trained international players such as Rangana Herath, Tharindu Kaushal and Dilruwan Perera. Badulla
Badulla ( si, බදුල්ල, ta, பதுளை) is the capital and the largest city of Uva Province situated in the lower central hills of Sri Lanka. It is the capital city of Uva Province and the Badulla District. Geography Badulla is located in the southeast of Kandy, almost encircled by the Badulu Oya River, about above sea level and is surrounded by tea plantations. The city is overshadowed by the Namunukula range of mountains (highest peak above sea level). Dilruwan Perera
Mahawaduge Dilruwan Kamalaneth Perera ( si, දිල්රුවන් පෙරේරා; born 22 July 1982) is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer, who played for Sri Lanka in all formats of the game. He plays domestically for the Colts Cricket Club. Perera is a right-arm offbreak bowler and right-handed batsman. Started as an opening batsman, Perera is the quickest Sri Lankan bowler to reach both 50 and 100 Test wickets in Sri Lanka. Dilruwan is a past student of Sri Sumangala College. In cricket, a one-Test wonder is usually a cricketer who is only selected for one Test match during his career and never represents his country again. This is not necessarily due to a poor performance and can be for numerous reasons, such as injury or strong competition from other players. The term is also used in rugby. More rarely, the term may refer to a player who has played in more than one Test, but was very successful only once. The Singhalese Sports Club (SSC) is a first-class cricket club in Sri Lanka. Singhalese is the most successful club in Sri Lankan domestic cricket, having won the Premier Trophy a record 32 times to 2017. Although the name is correctly spelt with the old spelling "Singhalese", the name is sometimes misspelt with the modern spelling "Sinhalese".
