''Pixie Queen'' is the fourth studio album by Circa Survive's lead vocalist, Anthony Green (musician), Anthony Green. It was released on September 9, 2016. Anthony Green (musician)
Anthony Green (born April 15, 1982) is an American singer from Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He is currently the lead singer of Circa Survive, Saosin, The Sound of Animals Fighting, and L.S. Dunes, while also maintaining a solo career. He was previously in the bands Audience of One, Jeer at Rome, High and Driving, and Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer. Green is known for his distinctive, high vocal timbre. Career Audience of One Anthony Green's first band formed in 1997 while he was in high school with classmate and musician Tommy Dougherty (Junction 232). The band originally had Dougherty on guitar and Green on bass and vocals. Eventually, they recruited drummer Evan Madden. Green wanted to name the band ' Saosin', but Dougherty and Madden decided against it. Before settling on the "Audience of One" name, they played a few shows under the name "Handsome Pete" in 1998 and one show under the name "The Bill Bixby Experience". Circa Survive
Circa Survive is an American rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that formed in 2004. The band, led and founded by Anthony Green, consisted of former members from This Day Forward and Taken. Circa Survive quickly made a name for themselves in the indie music scene in little over two years with their 2005 debut album, ''Juturna'', and second album, ''On Letting Go'', released in 2007. Both albums were released on Equal Vision Records. Their third album, '' Blue Sky Noise'', was released via Atlantic Records in 2010. After parting ways with Atlantic Records, the band's fourth album, ''Violent Waves'', was released independently in 2012. Their fifth album, '' Descensus'', was released by Sumerian Records in 2014, and their sixth, The Amulet, with Hopeless Records in October 2017. Run for Cover Records is an American independent record label based in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 2004 by Jeff Casazza at the age of 17 with a $1,000 loan, the label functioned as a small one-person bedroom operation in Brighton, until Casazza graduated Suffolk University in 2010. Known for working with undiscovered young bands from all over the world, RFC can be credited for helping launch the careers of Tigers Jaw, Modern Baseball, Title Fight, Citizen, Turnover, Pinegrove, Basement, and many more, as well as working with already notable acts like Alex G, Camp Cope, mewithoutYou, Teen Suicide, and Nothing.
