Clearfield is a borough and the county seat of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2020 census the population was 5,962 people, making it the second most populous community in Clearfield County, behind DuBois. The borough is part of the DuBois, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area, as well as the larger State College-DuBois, PA Combined Statistical Area. The settled area surrounding the borough consists of the nearby census-designated places of Hyde and Plymptonville, which combined with Clearfield have a population of approximately 8,237 people. Exton is a census-designated place (CDP) in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. Its population was 5,622 at the 2020 census. The Exton Square Mall and Main Street at Exton are both located within Exton along with several other shopping centers, making Exton the major shopping district in Chester County. History Exton lies at the intersection of U.S. Route 30 (formerly the Lancaster Road, and later the Lincoln Highway) and Pennsylvania Route 100 (Pottstown Pike). Beginning in the late 18th century, the Lancaster Road became a major transportation route between Philadelphia and the west, while what is now Route 100 was a regional north–south route to Pottstown. Exton Square Mall is a shopping mall located in the Exton, Pennsylvania in West Whiteland Township in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The mall features a parking garage and food court. It is located at the crossroads of Chester County at the intersection of U.S. Route 30 Business and Pennsylvania Route 100. The mall is anchored by Macy's and Boscov's retail stores and a Round One Entertainment, an arcade and bowling center. It also contains dozens of smaller stores and a food court. The Exton Square Mall is shaped as a square with the southern half of the mall two floors and the northern half one floor. Cressona Mall is a shopping mall in Pottsville, Pennsylvania off Route 61 and Route 183. History Cressona Mall opened on October 2, 1973, with Hills as its anchor. Laneco had plans to open a store at the mall in early 1982, using the former Grant's space. Due to the store being sold, Acme was rebranded Insalacos in January 1995. Laneco closed at the mall in March 1995. Hills expanded its store and Staples opened at the mall in 1996. The Surgery Center of Pottsville opened in 2006. The Cressona Mall in 2007-2008 received exterior renovations. Alvernia University opened a satellite campus in 2009, using former office and store space. Pottstown is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Pottstown was laid out in 1752–53 and named Pottsgrove in honor of its founder, John Potts. Coventry Mall (also known as The Shoppes at Coventry) is a shopping mall in North Coventry Township, Pennsylvania ( Pottstown, Pennsylvania), located at the interchange of Route 100 and Route 724. The mall is anchored by Boscov's, Kohl's, Gabe's, and Dick's Sporting Goods. History Opened as the Norco Mall in October, 1967, it featured Sears, Britt's Department Store (later Hess's), and Thrift Drug as anchors as well as thirteen smaller retail stores. In 1974 the original open-air plan was enclosed and expanded to include a new anchor store, J.M. Fields, a two-plex movie theater operated by the Fox Theatres chain, and more than a dozen new retail spaces. In 1982 the mall underwent further expansion and a name change to Coventry Mall. J. M.
