Pito Pérez
Pito Pérez is a Mexican rock band originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. The band began in the year 2000 in the city of Guadalajara. Miguel Mendez (Guitar and Vocals), Abraham Bustos (Bass and Vocals) and Jorge Chavez (Drums) got together to make music after playing in bands like Gong and Palida Fonk. The name Pito Perez was taken from the character of a famous novel called The futile life of Pito Perez La vida inútil de Pito Pérez, a book written in the 1930s by Mexican writer José Rúben Romero. The band wanted a very identifiable and Mexican name. El Tri is a Mexican rock band from Mexico City fronted by Alex Lora. It is a spinoff of Three Souls in My Mind, formed in 1968. The group is regarded as influential in the development of Mexican rock music. La Maldita Vecindad y los Hijos del Quinto Patio (, usually called only "La Maldita") is a band formed in Mexico City in 1985. They are pioneers of rock en español and one of the most influential rock bands in Mexico. Molotov is a Mexican rock band formed in Mexico City in 1995. Their lyrics, which are rapped and sung by all members of the group, feature a mixture of Spanish and English. The band members also switch instruments and roles depending on what song they are performing. Biography The band began in 1995 when two friends, Tito Fuentes (guitar) and Micky "Chicho" Huidobro (bass), started playing together. Jaguares is a Mexican alternative rock band formed by former Caifanes lead singer Saúl Hernández, ex-Caifan Alfonso André (drums), and two long-time friends Federico Fong (bass guitar) and José Manuel Aguilera (lead guitar). History Jaguares got their name from one of vocalist Saúl Hernández's dreams, in which he was singing in a jaguar's mouth.
