Piragu
''Piragu'' () is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language crime drama film directed by N. Jeeva. The film stars Hamsavardhan, Keerthi Chawla and Sunitha Varma, with Vadivelu, Dhandapani, Malaysia Vasudevan, Sabitha Anand, Emey, and Karate Raja playing supporting roles. The film, produced by R. Saravana and S. K. Chandhrasekar, had musical score by Srikanth Deva, cinematography by A. Kasi Vishwa, and editing by A. P. Manivannan. The film released on 21 September 2007. Plot Sathya (Hamsavardhan) is a drama director in his village who lives with his father Ramaiah (Malaysia Vasudevan), a respected Koothu artist, and his mother ( Sabitha Anand). The village belle Thulasi (Keerthi Chawla), Sathya's relative, is in love with him since her childhood. Sathya comes to Chennai with hopes of becoming a cinema director one day. Gana Bala
Bala Murugan, better known by his stage name Gana Bala is an Indian playback singer in Tamil cinema. He rose to prominence after rendering the songs 'Aadi Pona Aavani' and 'Nadukadalula Kappala' from the soundtrack of ''Attakathi''. Hamsavardhan is an Indian actor who has acted in Tamil language films. Career Hamsavardhan was initially set to make his debut in ''Anandham Anandham'' which had begun production in 1998, though the film was delayed and later released as '' Vadagupatti Maapillai'' (2001) The delays meant that he started another film with the same director, V. C. Guhanathan, titled ''Mahajithan'', but the project did not develop. Likewise, a project titled ''Vendumadi Nee Yenakku'', also co-starring Abbas, Karan and Preetha Vijayakumar also failed to materialise. Halwa Vasu
Vasu, popularly known as Halwa Vasu, (died 17 August 2017) was a comedian in the Tamil film industry in India. He worked in around 900 films. Career Vasu who hailed from Madurai district, came to Chennai to work in cinemas after his graduation. Vasu worked as an assistant to director-actor Manivannan, he carved a niche for himself in comedy films and has also acted alongside the likes of Vadivelu. Chelladurai (1941 - 7 February 2015) was an Indian comedian who worked in Tamil-language films. He acted in over 350 films. Career Chelladurai made his film debut with ''Thooral Ninnu Pochchu'' (1982). He is known for his comic sequences with actor Vadivelu. He became famous for his role in '' Shree'' (2002) as the owner of a wine shop named Prabha. In the scene, Marimuthu (Vadivelu) calls the owner and asks when the shop will open.
