Giuseppe "Pippo" Barzizza (; 15 May 1902 – 4 April 1994) was an Italian composer, arranger, conductor and music director. Giuseppe Barzizza, called Pippo, was born in Genova on 15 May 1902, and died in Sanremo on 4 April 1994. He became famous in the 1930s and 1940s, at the beginning with Blue Star Orchestra and then with Orchestra Cetra. He composed songs and film soundtracks. His treatise, "Barzizza's method" was printed in 1952. Giuseppe Vittorio Raimondo Baudo (born 7 June 1936), known as Pippo Baudo, is one of the most famous Italian television presenters, with a career spanning six decades. He is often nicknamed "Superpippo" (referencing the Italian name of Super Goof). Baudo has also been the artistic director and president of the Teatro Stabile di Catania. Career Baudo was born in Militello in Val di Catania. While studying law at the University of Catania, he became involved in entertainment as an actor and host. He also learned to play the piano. He graduated with a degree in law, despite his interest in entertainment. At the end of the 1950s, he became a singer and pianist for Orchestra Moonlight. In 1959, for the first time, Pippo appeared on Italian TV during a "Caravella dei Successi" episode, broadcast from Palermo. Filippo "Pippo" Maniero (born 11 September 1972, in Padua) is an Italian retired association footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Striker, striker. Club career Maniero played for several teams throughout his career, most notably A.C. Milan, Parma F.C., Parma, U.S. Città di Palermo, Palermo and Torino F.C., Torino. Pippo Pollina (Palermo, May 18, 1963) born Giuseppe Pollina is an Italian singer-songwriter. He lives in Switzerland ( Zurich) and his music is known in German speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) as well as in Italy. Even though being Italian, his success in Italy was a delayed success compared to Central Europe. Early life Pippo Pollina was born and grew up in Palermo (Italy) where he studied law at the university of Palermo.
