Piotr Fijas
Piotr Fijas (born 27 July 1958) is a Polish former ski jumper. Career Fijas won a bronze medal at the 1979 FIS Ski Flying World Championships in Planica, Yugoslavia (now Slovenia). He finished seventh on the individual normal hill at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo, and scored three individual World Cup wins between 1980 and 1986, all in individual large hill competitions. The last and all-time world record in parallel style On 14 March 1987, he set the last parallel style ski jumping world record at on Velikanka bratov Gorišek in Planica, Yugoslavia. Bielsko-Biała
Bielsko-Biała (; cs, Bílsko-Bělá, german: Bielitz-Biala, szl, Bjylsko-Bjoło) is a city in southern Poland, with a population of approximately 168,319 as of December 2021, making it the 22nd largest city in Poland, and an area of . Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte
Saint-Nizier-du-Moucherotte is a commune in the Isère department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Southeastern France. In 2019, it had a population of 1,083. Demographics 1968 Winter Olympics The commune hosted the ski jumping individual large hill event for the 1968 Winter Olympics held in neighbouring Grenoble, on the Dauphine site on Le Moucherotte. Its hill had a calculation or K-point of 90 metres and was constructed between July 1966 and January 1967. During training, the longest jump reached was 112 metres. Wielka Krokiew
Wielka Krokiew (''The Great Krokiew'', in Polish ''krokiew'' means ''rafter'') is the biggest ski jumping hill built on the slope of Krokiew mountain (1378 m) in Zakopane, Poland. It was opened in 1925. Since 1989 the hills bears the official name Wielka Krokiew im. Stanisława Marusarza. It is a regular venue in the FIS Ski jumping World Cup. The capacity of the ski jumping stadium is 40,001. The hill was featured in competitions at the 1939 and 1962 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships as well as the 2001 Universiade. In 1997, Pope John Paul II, while visiting his native country, celebrated a mass at the hill's stadium. Since 2001, due to the success of Polish jumper Adam Małysz, Wielka Krokiew has seen some of the largest audiences in World Cup ski jumping history. Zakopane
Zakopane ( Podhale Goral: ''Zokopane'') is a town in the extreme south of Poland, in the southern part of the Podhale region at the foot of the Tatra Mountains.
