Pionýr (Czech Republic)
Pionýr (- Czech, in English ''Pioneer'') is a Czech-based voluntary, independent and nonpolitical movement of children, youth and adult people. It focuses on non-formal, educational activities and is organised during leisure time. Pionýr partially keeps an old tradition based on the Pioneer Movement, which was an international communist children's organisation in Central and Eastern Europe and still exists in some Communist countries. The Czech Pionýr is now associated to the International Falcon Movement - Socialist Education International, the movement works towards social democracy education for children around the world. The term "Pionýr" expresses an idea of modern pioneering; the idea of searching and longing for socialist learning. Pioneer is internationally understood as a man - discoverer of new ways, directions and a herald of progressive ideas. Pionýr aims to fully comply with the meaning of this term. In 2007, the organization decided to change its logo to a new ...

Czech Language
Czech (; Czech ), historically also Bohemian (; ''lingua Bohemica'' in Latin), is a West Slavic language of the Czech–Slovak group, written in Latin script. Spoken by over 10 million people, it serves as the official language of the Czech Republic. Czech is closely related to Slovak, to the point of high mutual intelligibility, as well as to Polish to a lesser degree. Czech is a fusional language with a rich system of morphology and relatively flexible word order. Its vocabulary has been extensively influenced by Latin and German. The Czech–Slovak group developed within West Slavic in the high medieval period, and the standardization of Czech and Slovak within the Czech–Slovak dialect continuum emerged in the early modern period. In the later 18th to mid-19th century, the modern written standard became codified in the context of the Czech National Revival. The main non-standard variety, known as Common Czech, is based on the vernacular of Prague, but is now spoken as an ...

English Language
English is a West Germanic language of the Indo-European language family, with its earliest forms spoken by the inhabitants of early medieval England. It is named after the Angles, one of the ancient Germanic peoples that migrated to the island of Great Britain. Existing on a dialect continuum with Scots, and then closest related to the Low Saxon and Frisian languages, English is genealogically West Germanic. However, its vocabulary is also distinctively influenced by dialects of France (about 29% of Modern English words) and Latin (also about 29%), plus some grammar and a small amount of core vocabulary influenced by Old Norse (a North Germanic language). Speakers of English are called Anglophones. The earliest forms of English, collectively known as Old English, evolved from a group of West Germanic (Ingvaeonic) dialects brought to Great Britain by Anglo-Saxon settlers in the 5th century and further mutated by Norse-speaking Viking settlers starting in the 8th and 9th ...

Triband (flag)
A triband is a vexillological style which consists of three stripes arranged to form a flag. These stripes may be two or three colors, and may be charged with an emblem in the middle stripe. Design Outside of the name, which requires three bands of color, there are no other requirements for what a triband must look like, so there are many flags that look very different from each other but are all considered tribands. Some triband flags (e.g. those of Croatia and Ghana) have their stripes positioned horizontally, while others (e.g. that of Italy) position the stripes vertically. Often the stripes on a triband are of equal length and width, though this is not always the case, as can be seen in the flags of Colombia and Canada. Symbols on tribands may be seals, such as on the Belizean flag, or any manner of emblems of significance to the area the flag represents, such as in the flags of Argentina, India and Lebanon. A triband is also a tricolor if the three stripes on the flag ...

Pionýr (Czechoslovakia)
Pionýr (literally: Pioneer), officially Pioneer Organization of the Socialist Youth Union ( cz, Pionýrská organizace Socialistického svazu mládeže, PO SSM; sk, Pionierska organizácia Socialistického zväzu mládeže, PO SZM), was a youth Marxist-Leninist organization in communist Czechoslovakia that was a subdivision of the Socialist Youth Union. Although the organisation proclaimed to be voluntary, every child was expected to join from the age of six. Etymology The Czech word ''pionýr'' is an approximate synonym of the word ''skaut'' (scout). Both are loan words from English and both are connected with the Czech idealization of the Wild West. Therefore, the Pionýr's inspiration from the Scout movement is obvious. Activities Pioneer activities were taken from the Scout movement, the Sokol movement, and the Soviet Komsomol and its Vladimir Lenin All-Union Pioneer Organization, with which it was partnered. Original pioneer activities included old paper or her ...

Youth Organizations Based In The Czech Republic
Youth is the time of life when one is young. The word, youth, can also mean the time between childhood and adulthood ( maturity), but it can also refer to one's peak, in terms of health or the period of life known as being a young adult. Youth is also defined as "the appearance, freshness, vigor, spirit, etc., characteristic of one, who is young". Its definitions of a specific age range varies, as youth is not defined chronologically as a stage that can be tied to specific age ranges; nor can its end point be linked to specific activities, such as taking unpaid work, or having sexual relations. Youth is an experience that may shape an individual's level of dependency, which can be marked in various ways according to different cultural perspectives. Personal experience is marked by an individual's cultural norms or traditions, while a youth's level of dependency means the extent to which they still rely on their family emotionally and economically. Terminology and d ...
