''Pinnilavu'' is a 1983 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by P. G. Viswambharan and written by Thoppil Bhasi, based on the story of the same name by C. Radhakrishnan. It stars Madhu, Srividya, Mammootty, Mohanlal, Poornima Bhagyaraj, M G Soman, Mukesh, Maniyan Pillai Raju, and Sukumari. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film is about a fight of ethics between a father and son. Plot Kesava Panickar (Madhu) is an honest government engineer who assiduously resists any offers of bribes. His only son Govindanunni (Mammootty) gets selected for MBBS, for which Panicker is too proud of. Unni is in love with Parvathi (Poornima Bhagyaraj), and their marriage is almost fixed by both the parents. But changes are seen in Unni after he joins the college. Getting into bad company consisting of spoiled brats from rich families, Unni turns to alcohol, grass and porn, and stops attending his classes. Raju Mathew
Raju Mathew ( – 12 November 2019) was an Indian film producer from Kerala. He produced 45 films. He was the owner of Century Films. Biography Mathew worked in an insurance company before coming to the film arena. Later he gave up the job and established Century Films in 1979. Then he began to produce films. He produced mainly Malayalam films. Besides Malayalam films he also produced a Hindi film titled ''Anokha Rishta''. ''Athiran'' was the last film which was produced by him. He was the president of the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce. Mathew was married to Lily Mathew. Anjana Jacob and Ranjana Mathew are their daughters. Mathew died on 12 November 2019 at the age of 82. Mukesh Madhavan (born 5 March 1957), known mononymously as Mukesh, is an Indian actor, film producer, television presenter, and politician who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema besides also having sporadically appeared in Tamil-language films. Santhosh Kesavan Nair is an Indian actor in Malayalam cinema. He has acted in more than 100 films as villain, hero, second hero and as comedian as well. Early life Santhosh is from Thiruvananthapuram. He is the only son of retired headmaster C. N. Kesavan Nair and P. Rajalakshmiamma, who is also a retired teacher. Vijayaraghavan (born 20 December 1951) is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He is popular for his character roles. He is the son of popular drama and cinema artist N. N. K. Bhaskaran Nair (1 March 1929 – 29 March 1990), known by his stage name Adoor Bhasi, was an Indian actor and film director from Kerala.
