Pinegrove (band)
Pinegrove is an American rock band formed in Montclair, New Jersey in 2010. The band's lineup is variable, with singer-songwriter Evan Stephens Hall and drummer Zack Levine representing its core members. The two met as children and played in various bands before founding Pinegrove. The band's musical style, which uses instruments such as the banjo and pedal steel guitar, is commonly described as a mix between alt-country and emo. Pinegrove's early years were spent self-releasing music—including their debut album, ''Meridian'' (2012)—and performing do-it-yourself (DIY) house shows. Evan Stephens Hall
Evan Stephens Hall (born May 6, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Hall is best known as the frontman of indie rock band Pinegrove. Born in New York City, Hall grew up the son of a musician father, and took instrument lessons locally. During his time at Ohio's Kenyon College, Hall co-founded Pinegrove with drummer and childhood friend Zack Levine. Pinegrove rose to fame in the mid-2010s with its breakthrough album, ''Cardinal'' (2016), which attracted broad critical acclaim. The band has released five studio albums so far; its most recent, '' 11:11'', was released in January 2022. Everything So Far
''Everything So Far'' is the first compilation album by American rock band Pinegrove. It was initially self-released by the band in 2014, and later released on cassette as a tour-only exclusive by Seagreen Records in December 2014. ''Everything So Far'' serves as an anthology the band's early material, from self-released extended plays to the band's first proper album, ''Meridian'' (originally released in 2012). Following Pinegrove's signing to independent record label Run for Cover, it was re-released with updated cover art on October 9, 2015. It has since seen re-released on vinyl and compact disc. Geometry
Geometry (; ) is, with arithmetic, one of the oldest branches of mathematics. It is concerned with properties of space such as the distance, shape, size, and relative position of figures. Kenyon College
Kenyon College is a private liberal arts college in Gambier, Ohio. It was founded in 1824 by Philander Chase. Kenyon College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Coercion
Coercion () is compelling a party to act in an involuntary manner by the use of threats, including threats to use force against a party. It involves a set of forceful actions which violate the free will of an individual in order to induce a desired response.
