PinchukArtCentre
PinchukArtCentre is a private contemporary art centre, located in Kyiv with a collection of works by Ukrainian and international artists. The museum was opened on 16 September 2006 by the steel billionaire Victor Pinchuk. The mission of the PinchukArtCentre mission is to exhibit new artistic production and collect national and international contemporary art. The centre's structure and focus consists of an international collection, temporary exhibitions, education programmes, publications, and scholarly research. In 2007 and 2009, the PinchukArtCentre officially represented Ukraine at the Venice Biennale. Admission to the museum is free. Victor Mykhailovych Pinchuk ( uk, Віктор Михайлович Пінчук, ''Viktor Mykhailovych Pinchuk''; born 14 December 1960) is a Ukrainian businessman and oligarch. As of January 2016, ''Forbes'' ranked him as 1,250th on the list of wealthiest people in the world, with a fortune of US$1.44 billion. Emilija Škarnulytė (born 1987 in Vilnius) is a visual artist and filmmaker. Dineo Seshee Bopape
Dineo Seshee Bopape is a South African multimedia artist. Using experimental video montages, sound, found objects, photographs and dense sculptural installations, her artwork "engages with powerful socio-political notions of memory, narration and representation." Among other venues, Bopape's work has been shown at the New Museum, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia, and the 12th Biennale de Lyon. Carlos Motta (born 1978) is a Colombian-born, New York-based artist. Motta has an interdisciplinary practice making work in film, photography and sculpture. Motta's practice challenges dominant ideas about sexuality and gender using a myriad of archival material, art historical references, and the body. Rayyane Tabet (born 1983) is a Lebanese visual artist, he is known for his sculpture. He has lived and worked in both Beirut and San Francisco. Early life and education Rayyane Tabet was born in 1983 in Ashqout, Lebanon. He has training as an artist and as an architect, and has a Bachelor of Architecture degree (2008) from Cooper Union, and a MFA degree (2012) from the University of California, San Diego.
