Pimpichaya Kokram ( th, พิมพิชยา ก๊กรัมย์, born June 16, 1998) is a Thai indoor volleyball player. She is a current member of the Thailand women's national volleyball team. Career She participated at the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship, 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship. Pimpichaya Kokram played the FIVB World Grand Prix, as substitute. After winning three games in Group 1 (Serbia 3-2, Germany 3-0 and Belgium 3-1 ), Thailand finished in ninth place. Asian Women's Volleyball Championship
The Asian Women's Volleyball Championship is an international volleyball competition in Asia and Oceania contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), the sport's continent governing body. The initial gap between championships was four years, but since 1987 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Japan, which won its fifth title in 2019. The 20 Asian Championship tournaments have been won by three different national teams. China have won thirteen times. The other Asian Championship winners are Japan, with five titles; and Thailand with two titles. The 2021 edition has been canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the inaugural edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams that replaced the former World Grand Prix in the international calendar. The competition was held between May and July 2018, and the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China. Six-time World Grand Prix winners, United States won the inaugural edition, defeating Turkey in five sets on the final. This was Turkey's first ever final on a senior world-level premier competition (World Championship, World Cup, Summer Olympic Games and the aforementioned Grand Prix). 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix
The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 24th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 teams from 3 June to 10 July 2016. The Group 1 final round was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Brazil captured their record eleventh title in the tournament after a 3–2 win over defending champions United States. In the bronze medal match, The Netherlands prevailed in five sets over Russia. Natália Pereira was elected the most valuable player. In the Group 2 finals held in Varna, Bulgaria, Dominican Republic defeated Poland in five sets and earned a promotion to Group 1 for the 2017 season. 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship
The 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's U23 World Championship was held in Ankara, Turkey, from 12 to 19 August 2015. This was the second edition of the tournament. Competition formula The competition format will see the 12 teams split into two pools of six teams playing in round robin format. The semifinals will feature the top two teams from each pool. The 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix is the inaugural edition of the ASEAN Grand Prix, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament which is contested by 4 national teams that are the members of the Southeast Asian Zonal Volleyball Association (SEAZVA), the sport's regional governing body affiliated to Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). ASEAN Grand Prix is a series of international women's volleyball tournaments in Southeast Asia featuring teams from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. History Plans of a regional women's volleyball league in Southeast Asia was first conceived in 2013 when AVC secretary-general Shanrit Wongprasert of Thailand met with officials of the Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, the national volleyball association of the Philippines. The league was proposed to adopt a home and away format as an effort to promote women's volleyball in the region. SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc., the Philippine-based organizer of the Philippine Super Liga, along with club leagues from Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, were reportedly backing such plans. The 2016 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2016 AVC Cup for Women was the fifth edition of the Asian Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Volleyball Federation of Vietnam (VFV).
