"Pilot" is the first episode of the American television drama series '' The Deuce''. It premiered on September 10, 2017, on premium cable network HBO; the pilot was released in advance on HBO streaming service HBO Go on August 25. Donald Patrick Harvey II (born May 31, 1960) is an American actor. Early life Harvey was born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, the sixth of eight children. He started acting while attending Lake Shore High School, having performed in several shows before graduating in 1978.
