Pierre Habumuremyi

	Pierre Habumuremyi Pierre-Damien Habumuremyi (born 20 February 1961) is a Rwandan politician who served as Prime Minister of Rwanda from 7 October 2011 until 24 July 2014. He previously served as Ministry of Education (Rwanda), Minister of Education from May 2011 to October 2011. Early life Pierre-Damien Habumuremyi was born in 1961 in Ruhondo, Musanze District. He studied in a number of countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, France, and Burkina Faso. He obtained a Bachelor of Science, B.Sc. in sociology, before completing his post-graduation at the University of Lubumbashi in 1993. He then completed Master of Science, M.Sc. in political science from the Panthéon-Assas University in 2003. He earned a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Ouagadougou in 2011.
