Pierre DeCelles
Pierre DeCelles (born 14 December 1951) is a Canadian animator, best known for directing 1988's ''Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw''. He was also the supervising director for the ''Spiral Zone'' animated series. In the 1990s, he did Ren Höek's screaming and cackling in "Big House Blues", the pilot of ''The Ren & Stimpy Show''. ''Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw'' is a 1988 American animated musical adventure film based on the Tonka toy line and the Hanna-Barbera television series of the same name, which aired around the same time. It was directed by Pierre DeCelles, and stars the voices of Brennan Howard, B.J. Ward and Tony Longo. This was the only animated feature film produced by Carolco Pictures as well as the first animated film distributed by TriStar Pictures. Spiral Zone
''Spiral Zone'' is a 1987 American science-fiction animated series produced by Atlantic/ Kushner-Locke. Spiral Zone was animated by Japanese studio Visual 80 as well as South Korean studio AKOM. Based in part from a toy line made by Japanese company Bandai, the series focused on an international group of soldiers fighting to free the world from a scientist who controls much of the Earth's surface. It only ran for one season, with a total count of 65 episodes. Tonka acquired the license from Bandai and created a different treatment to the series, plus a short-lived toy line. Marland T. "Ren" Höek and Stimpson J. "Stimpy" Cat, created by John Kricfalusi, are the title characters in the Nickelodeon animated series ''The Ren & Stimpy Show'', and its 2003 reboot ''Ren & Stimpy "Adult Party Cartoon"''. Kricfalusi created the characters during his stay at Sheridan College and they first appeared on film in the pilot episode "Big House Blues".
