Pierre J. Carreau is a modern rheologist, the author of the model of Carreau fluid. He is currently a professor emeritus at École Polytechnique in Montreal Montreal ( ; officially Montréal, ) is the second-most populous city in Canada and most populous city in the Canadian province of Quebec.
