Pierre-Luc Létourneau-Leblond
Pierre-Luc Létourneau-Leblond (born June 4, 1985) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey left winger who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New Jersey Devils, Calgary Flames and Pittsburgh Penguins. In July of 2023, he was inducted into the New York Hockey Hall of Fame. He played a physical game and is known as an agitator and a fighter. He was an extremely tough player, who very rarely fell when fighting. He is known as having some of the longest fights. Playing career As a youth, Leblond played in the 1998 and 1999 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournaments with a minor ice hockey team from Pointe-Lévy. Following his rookie season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Leblond was selected 216th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League, and are the AHL affiliates of the National Hockey League's Pittsburgh Penguins. They play at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre Township, Pennsylvania, just outside the city of Wilkes-Barre. They have won the Macgregor Kilpatrick Trophy twice for having the best record in the regular season. Adirondack Frostbite
The Adirondack Frostbite were a minor professional ice hockey team based in Glens Falls, New York, and were a member of the United Hockey League (UHL). They played their home games at the Glens Falls Civic Center. The Adirondack IceHawks UHL team came to Glens Falls in 2000, one season after the American Hockey League's (AHL) Adirondack Red Wings disbanded. The IceHawks were a relocation of the Winston-Salem IceHawks from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In 2004, ESPN '' SportsCenter'' anchor Steve Levy and NHL analyst Barry Melrose became the team's owners and the team changed its name to the Frostbite. Albany Devils
The Albany Devils were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). The top affiliate of the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL), the A-Devils played their home games at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York. The franchise started in 1998 as the expansion Lowell Lock Monsters and played their home games in Lowell, Massachusetts. In 2006, the Devils purchased the Lock Monsters and rebranded the franchise as the Lowell Devils for the 2006–07 AHL season. Waivers is a National Hockey League (NHL) labor management procedure by which an NHL team makes a professional ice hockey player's contract and rights available to all other NHL teams. Other NHL teams "waive" any claim to a player designated for assignment in the American Hockey League (AHL) or designated for release. The process is typically referred to as "being placed on waivers." It is similar to the designated for assignment process in Major League Baseball. Marcus Lars Johansson (born 6 October 1990) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League. He was selected by the Washington Capitals in the first round, 24th overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. In 2008–09, Johansson was part of the Färjestad BK team that became Swedish champions. David Clarkson (born March 31, 1984) is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. Bobby Holík
Bobby "The Geek" Holík (born January 1, 1971) is a Czech-American former professional ice hockey center who played 18 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). Holík is the son of Jaroslav Holík, a Czechoslovak ice hockey world champion in 1972 and Czech national team head coach who led the under-20 team to world titles in 2000 and 2001.
