Pierre-Louis Dieufaite
Pierre-Louis Dieufaite (born Jude Dieuly Pierre-Louis; 13 October 1983 – 6 November 2014) was a Haitian actor, best known for his supporting role in the award-winning film '' Love Me Haiti'', the first and only film he ever appeared in. Dieufaite, known as "Jude" by friends, was among the many people killed in Haiti by gangs and thieves during the month of November 2014. Port-au-Prince ( , ; ht, Pòtoprens ) is the capital and most populous city of Haiti. The city's population was estimated at 987,311 in 2015 with the metropolitan area estimated at a population of 2,618,894. The metropolitan area is defined by the IHSI as including the communes of Port-au-Prince, Delmas, Cite Soleil, Tabarre, Carrefour and Pétion-Ville. The city of Port-au-Prince is on the Gulf of Gonâve: the bay on which the city lies, which acts as a natural harbor, has sustained economic activity since the civilizations of the Taíno. ''Love Me Haiti'' is a 2014 fictional short film directed by Hugues Gentillon. Love Me Haiti co-stars Aurelia Khazan, Pierre-Louis Dieufaite, Deoud Gentillon, and François Meknes. The script was written by Gentillon, Alexander Stuart, Joyce Mccauley-Benner, and Joe Vetromile. Love Me Haiti was recorded in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The film won the 2014 Haiti's Oscar for best short film.
