Piero Bucchi
Piero Bucchi (born March 5, 1958) is an Italian basketball coach who is the head coach of Dinamo Sassari in the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and Basketball Champions League (BCL) and Romeo Sacchetti's assistant coach of the Italian national team. Career Piero Bucchi started his coach-career with Basket Rimini Crabs in 1992. He became the head coach of that team in March 1996. At the end of the 1996–97 season he achieved the promotion to Serie A. At the beginning of the 1999–2000 Serie A season, he became the head coach of Benetton Treviso. With him they won two Cups and one Supercup. Then he went to Basket Napoli and later to Lottomatica Roma where he remained for two and a half seasons, until his exemption during the 2004–05 Serie A season. Piero returned to Napoli and won another Cup. Lega Basket Serie A
The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. Serie A is organised by Lega Basket, which is regulated by the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP). It is the highest-tier level of the Italian league system. The LBA plays under FIBA rules and currently consists of 16 teams, with the lowest-placed team relegated to the Serie A2 and replaced by the winner of the play-offs of that tier. The Italian LNP Cup ( it, Coppa Italia LNP), known as Turkish Airlines Cup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual cup competition for Italian basketball teams organized by Italy's second league in the Italian basketball league system, the Serie A2 Basket. Daniel Lowell Peterson (born January 9, 1936) is a former American professional basketball head coach. He resigned from his most recent position as the head coach of Olimpia Milano in the Italian LBA after the team was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 2011 Italian league playoffs. The 2008–09 Lega Basket Serie A season, known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons, was the 87th season of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), the top tier professional basketball league division of the Italian basketball league system. Romeo "Meo" Sacchetti (born August 20, 1953) is an Italian professional basketball coach and former player who is currently a head coach for Pallacanestro Cantù of the Serie A2.
