Pierce Holt
Leslie Pierce Holt (born January 1, 1962) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a defensive lineman for the San Francisco 49ers and Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) from 1988 to 1995. Holt played high school football at Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg, Texas and played college football at Angelo State University. He was then selected by the 49ers in the second round of the 1988 NFL Draft. Holt was selected to his one and only Pro Bowl in 1992, his last year in San Francisco. He won two Super Bowls with the 49ers. The following year in March, Holt signed with the Atlanta Falcons for three years worth $7.5 million. He lives with his wife, Deana, in Christoval, Texas. Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formation (American football), formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. 1993 Pro Bowl
The 1993 Pro Bowl was the NFL's all-star game for the 1992 season. The game was played on February 7, 1993, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The final score was AFC — 23, NFC — 20. Steve Tasker of the Buffalo Bills was the game's MVP. This was the first Pro Bowl to go into overtime. All four starting linebackers of the New Orleans Saints, who were collectively nicknamed the Dome Patrol, were part of the NFC squad. Christoval is a census-designated place (CDP) in Tom Green County, Texas, United States. Its population was 504 at the 2010 census. It is part of the San Angelo, Texas, metropolitan statistical area. Geography Christoval is located at (31.197614, -100.493296). It is situated about 20 miles south of San Angelo in southern Tom Green County around the area of Loop 110, U.S. Highway 277, and Ranch to Market Road 2084. According to the United States Census Bureau in 2000, the CDP has a total area of 1.2 sq mi (3.1 km), all land. The 1988 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. Angelo State University is a public university in San Angelo, Texas. It was founded in 1928 as San Angelo College. It gained university status and awarded its first baccalaureate degrees in 1967 and graduate degrees in 1969, the same year it took on its current name.
