Pier Angelo Basili (after 1550 – 1604) was an Italian painter of the 16th century Renaissance period. He was born in Gubbio after 1550, and trained with Felice Damiani and Cristoforo Roncalli. Gubbio () is an Italian town and ''comune'' in the far northeastern part of the Italian province of Perugia (Umbria). It is located on the lowest slope of Mt. Felice Damiani or ''Felice da Gubbio'' (1530-1608) was an Italian painter of the late-Renaissance or Mannerism period. Biography He was a pupil of Benedetto Nucci in Gubbio. Because of his lively coloring, he was nicknamed the ''Paolo Veronese of Umbria'' He painted a ''Baptism of Sant'Agostino'' for the church of Sant'Agostino and an ''Adoration of the Magi'' (1603) for the church of San Domenico, Gubbio. Cristoforo Roncalli
Cristoforo Roncalli (c. 1552–1626) was an Italian mannerist painter. He was one of the three painters known as ''Pomarancio'' or ''Il Pomarancio''. Life Roncalli was born in Pomarance, a town near Volterra. His training occurred in Tuscany, and around 1578, he relocated to Rome, Italy where he worked for Niccolò Circignani (also known as ''il Pomarancio''). Most of his fresco work was in Rome, though he worked for a decade in Loreto (1605–1615), where he decorated the New Sacristy. In Rome he decorated the cupola of the church of Santa Maria di Loreto and of San Silvestro in Capite. He helped decorate ''Santa Maria in Vallicella'' for the Oratory of San Filippo Neri. Federigo or Federico Brunori or il Brunorino (1566–1649) was an Italian painter, active mainly in Gubbio. Biography He was a pupil of Felice Damiani. He was prolific. His portraits are natural, often clothed in foreign drapery. He may have modeled some compositions on prints of Albrecht Dürer.
