Piepa Cleary
Piepa May Cleary (born 17 July 1996) is an Australian cricketer who took 12 wickets in 14 games during the 2013–14 Women's National Cricket League season, 2013–14 WNCL season after debuting in December 2012. The right-arm bowler was selected in the 2011 Australian under-18 Talent Camp as a 15-year old after taking eight wickets at the 2010-11 under-18 National Championships. As a teenager, Cleary was also part of Australia's under-19 girls team at the 2011 Indoor Cricket Juniors World Series, before captaining the under-16s to glory in 2012. The South Perth product picked up 12 wickets during that tournament. She travelled to Dubai with the Commonwealth Bank Shooting Stars to play an England Academy team in April 2015 and has signed with the Perth Scorchers in the WBBL. Perth Scorchers (WBBL)
The Perth Scorchers (WBBL) are an Australian women's Twenty20 cricket team based in East Perth, Western Australia. They compete in the Women's Big Bash League, and won their first championship in WBBL07. History Formation One of eight founding WBBL teams, the Perth Scorchers are aligned with the men's team of the same name. On 9 May 2015, the WACA announced Mark Atkinson as the Scorchers' inaugural coach. At the official WBBL launch on 10 July, Jess Cameron was unveiled as the team's first-ever player signing. The 2013–14 Women's National Cricket League season was the 18th season of the Women's National Cricket League, the women's domestic limited overs cricket competition in Australia. The tournament started on 12 October 2013 and finished on 16 February 2014. 2023 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy
The 2023 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the fourth edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket 50-over domestic competition, which took place between 22 April and 24 September 2023. It featured eight teams playing in a double round-robin group stage, followed by a knock-out round. It ran alongside the Charlotte Edwards Cup. Northern Diamonds were the defending champions. The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. The 2018–19 Women's Big Bash League season or WBBL, 04 was the fourth season of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL), the semi-professional women's Twenty20 domestic cricket competition in Australia.
