Pieces Of Nothing
''Pieces of Nothing'' is the second EP and second release overall by American rock band Drowning Pool. It was released in 2000. All of the tracks, except for "Less Than Zero" would later be re-recorded and revamped for their debut studio album '' Sinner''. In 2014, all the songs from the EP were remastered and released on the ''Unlucky 13th Anniversary'' deluxe edition of ''Sinner'' along with other unreleased songs and demos. Drowning Pool is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1996. The band was named after the 1975 film ''The Drowning Pool (film), The Drowning Pool''. Since its formation, the band has consisted of guitarist C.J. Pierce, bassist Stevie Benton, and drummer Mike Luce, as well as a revolving cast of vocalists, the latest being Jasen Moreno. After the release of their debut album, ''Sinner (Drowning Pool album), Sinner'' (2001), original vocalist Dave Williams (singer), Dave Williams was found dead on August 14, 2002 from heart disease. Sinner (Drowning Pool Album)
''Sinner'' is the debut studio album by the American rock band Drowning Pool, released on June 5, 2001, by Wind-up Records. It is considered to be the band's most popular album, being certified platinum in the same year that it was released. This was due at least in part to "Bodies" which remains the band's most well-known song. This is the only studio album by the band to feature original lead singer Dave Williams. While touring in support of ''Sinner'', he died on August 14, 2002, from cardiomyopathy. The album debuted at number 14 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. Drowning Pool released a reissue of the album called the "Unlucky 13th Anniversary Edition" in 2014. The album was put at no. 25 on Metal Descent's list "The 25 Best Alternative Metal Albums". "Bodies" is the debut single by the American rock band Drowning Pool, released in May 2001 from their debut album '' Sinner''. "Bodies" is Drowning Pool's signature song and has been featured in various films, TV programs, and advertisements since its release. David Wayne Williams (February 29, 1972 – August 14, 2002) was an American vocalist best known as the original lead singer for the rock band Drowning Pool. Biography He grew up in Princeton, Texas, living with his parents Charles Edward and Jo-Ann Williams. He grew up in a pious family which caused him to move away from religion. Notably, he also used to wear a T-shirt that read "Worship Satan and Smoke Crack". In 1999, he joined Drowning Pool, which had formed in 1996 and had previously performed as an instrumental three-piece. The band released their debut album with Williams, '' Sinner'', in 2001. Williams soon gained recognition for his performances with the band; his nickname "Stage" came from Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell, who gave it to him because of his known stage personality.
