''Pianoforte'' is a 1984 Italian drama film. It is the debut film of director Francesca Comencini. ''Pianoforte'' won the "De Sica" award at the 1984 Venice Film Festival. Vincenzo Cerami (2 November 1940 – 17 July 2013) was an Italian screenwriter, novelist and poet. Biography From 1967, he contributed or wrote screenplays or adapted screenplays for more than 40 films. In 1996, he was a member of the jury at the 46th Berlin International Film Festival. In 1976, his first novel ''Un borghese piccolo piccolo'' (''A Very Normal Man'') was published, through the efforts of Italian novelist Italo Calvino.
