Phulpur is a constituency of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly covering the city of Phulpur in the Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Phulpur Lok Sabha seat, also spelled 'Phoolpur', is one of the 80 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. It lies in Prayagraj district. Phulpur is a historic constituency and two Indian Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru and V P Singh have been elected from this constituency. The election to the 17th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly was held from 11 February to 8 March 2017 in 7 phases. This election saw a voter turnout of 61.11% compared to 59.40% in the previous election.
