Philmore
Philmore was a Christian rock band that formed in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the late 1990s, and was active until 2005. The band's original lineup consisted of brothers Justin (lead guitar and vocals) and Kayle Greiman (bass) with drummer Brett Schoneman. Career Philmore's self-titled debut album was released on Five Minute Walk Records in June 2000, featuring the track "Our Finest Hour", and a cover of Bon Jovi's " Living on a Prayer". The inside cover features a photograph of the band wearing mirror sunglasses and jeans with holes in them. Five Minute Walk
5 Minute Walk was an independent record label founded by Frank Tate in April 1995. Operations were based in Concord, California in the back offices of The Screem, a music club operated by Tate. They only carried Christian bands and considered themselves to be a Christian ministry. Most records were produced by Masaki Liu at Masaki's One Way Studio and executive produced by Frank Tate. Operations Records released under 5 Minute Walk were distributed by Diamante Music Group until September 1998. They then struck a deal with Forefront Records to distribute through EMI-owned Chordant Distribution in Christian markets and directly by EMI Distribution in mainstream markets. They also had a sublabel, SaraBellum Records, founded in 1997. Records released on the SaraBellum imprint were targeted at the general market, and distributed by the Warner Music Group. Relient K is an American rock band formed in 1998 in Canton, Ohio, by Matt Thiessen, Matt Hoopes, and Brian Pittman Board Message during the band members' third year in high school and their time at Malone University. The band is named after guitarist Hoopes' automobile, a Plymouth Reliant K car, with the spelling intentionally altered to avoid trademark infringement over the ''Reliant'' name. The group is known for its Christian rock, alternative Christian rock, and contemporary Christian music. Watashi Wa
Watashi Wa is a Christian pop rock band from San Luis Obispo, California on Tooth & Nail Records. in Japanese means "I am". The band formed in 1999 when most of the members were still in their teens. They were first signed to indie label Bettie Rocket and released two albums before signing to Tooth & Nail in 2002. The band broke up in July 2004, but in a deal with Tooth & Nail Records singer/guitarist Seth Roberts' new band Eager Seas, were signed to the same label and released their first album under the name Watashi Wa. They subsequently left the label. The new band currently plays under the name Lakes and have signed with The Militia Group and released the ''Photographs'' EP. Bleach is an American Christian rock band based in Nashville, Tennessee. History Bleach was formed at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky, in 1995, originally under the name Muffin. In 1997, the band earned a Dove Award in the category of Modern Rock Recorded Song of the Year for its song "Epidermis Girl", from its first album ''Space''. The follow-up album, ''Static'', reached No. 22 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart. In 2004, the band members announced that they were disbanding.
