The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) is a men's professional basketball league in the Philippines composed of twelve company-branded franchised teams. The Shell Turbo Chargers were a Philippine Basketball Association team from 1985 to 2005. It won four PBA championships, two from 1998 to 1999. Danny Ildefonso
Danilo Ildefonso (born December 9, 1976) is a Filipino former professional basketball player. He is currently an assistant coach for both the Converge FiberXers of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the NU Bulldogs of the UAAP. Nicknamed "Danny I", "The Demolition Man" and "Lakáy", Ildefonso is a two-time PBA Most Valuable Player in 2000 and 2001 and is one of the four players to win the said award on back-to-back seasons, along with Bogs Adornado, Alvin Patrimonio, and June Mar Fajardo. He also one of the few PBA players to have won all three major MVP awards in the league: regular season, finals, and all-star game MVP. The first out-of-town All-Star game was held on August 13, 2000 at the San Agustin Gym in Iloilo City. Bal David
Bal Viray David Jr. (born August 23, 1972) is a Filipino coach and retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He played as point guard for the Barangay Ginebra Kings. He is the current head coach of the UST Growling Tigers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). Amateur career David was a standout for the University of Santo Tomas (UST), leading the Growling Tigers to the 1994 UAAP men's basketball championship. His field-goal at the dying seconds of Game 3 allowed the Tigers to defeat the De La Salle Green Archers 2–1 in the championship series. Kenneth Duremdes
Kenneth Celera Duremdes (born January 31, 1974) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association and the current commissioner of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). Nicknamed as "Captain Marbel", Duremdes is also a former PBA Most Valuable Player in 1998, and a former member of the Philippine national basketball team. Amateur career Duremdes played for Adamson University in the UAAP during the mid-90s and was touted as one of the future PBA superstars. He also played in the Philippine Basketball League where he had solid credentials.
