Philipp Bönig
Philipp Bönig (born 20 March 1980) is a German former professional footballer who played as a left-back, and a manager. Career Youth Born in Erding (Bavaria), West Germany, Bönig started to play football at the local club Eintracht Freising. His first position was keeper but after a couple of matches he moved to the left offensive midfield. Two of his brothers are also football players: his brother Sebastian played more than hundred matches in the second Bundesliga for LR Ahlen and Union Berlin, and his youngest brother Vincent played in the second team of FC Ingolstadt 04. After impressing as a junior, Bönig joined Bayern Munich as a 14-year-old in 1994 and played there for seven years. In the last year he established himself in the second team of the club which played in the Regionalliga. While playing at Bayern Munich, Bönig made twenty starts for the German national youth teams. Erding
Erding () is a town in Bavaria, Germany, and capital of the rural district of the same name. It had a population of 36,469 in 2019. The original Erdinger Weissbier is a well-known Bavarian specialty. The DFL-Ligapokal (, officially Premiere Ligapokal , previously DFB-Ligapokal ) or the ''German League Cup'' was a German football competition that took place before the start of the Bundesliga season, featuring the top five teams of the previous Bundesliga season and the winners of the DFB-Pokal in Germany. The cup was known as the Premiere-Ligapokal after 2005, when Premiere, a German pay television network, took up sponsorship of the competition. The Ligapokal was not held in 2008 due to schedule crowding caused by the UEFA Euro 2008. Instead, the German Supercup was held on 23 July. The Ligapokal was not held in 2009 either, due to the German Football Association's decision to abolish it. Hungarian Cup
The Hungarian Cup ( hu, Magyar Kupa) is the Hungarian cup competition for football clubs. It was started by the Hungarian Football Association, the ''Magyar Labdarúgó Szövetség,'' in 1909, eight years after the commencement of the Hungarian League ( hu, Nemzeti Bajnokság). Besides all of the professional clubs of Hungary numerous amateur sides take part every year. These have to qualify through local cup competitions. The most successful participant in the Magyar Kupa has been Ferencváros with 24 wins, followed by local rivals MTK with 12 cups. The DFB-Pokal ( is a German knockout football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). Sixty-four teams participate in the competition, including all clubs from the Bundesliga and the 2. Bundesliga. It is considered the second-most important club title in German football after the Bundesliga championship. Taking place from August until May, the winner qualifies for the DFL-Supercup and the UEFA Europa League unless the winner already qualifies for the UEFA Champions League in the Bundesliga. The competition was founded in 1935, then called the '' Tschammer-Pokal''. The first titleholders were 1. FC Nürnberg. In 1937, Schalke 04 were the first team to win the double. Tomasz Zdebel (born 25 May 1973) is a Polish-German former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He was active in his active career in Germany, Belgium and Turkey. From 2000 to 2003, he played for the Poland national team. Early life Zdebel was born and raised in Katowice, Poland. His father was a football player who worked as a miner during the week. In 1988 the family emigrated to Düsseldorf. Club career Zdebel started playing football with the local club GKS Katowice. Having emigrated to Germany, he joined the youth team of Fortuna Düsseldorf. A team is a group of individuals (human or non-human) working together to achieve their goal. The 2003–04 Bundesliga was the 41st season of the Bundesliga, Germany's premier football league. It began on 1 August 2003 and concluded on 22 May 2004.
