Phil Sawyer
Philip Sawyer (born 8 March 1947,Strong, Martin C. (2002) ''The Great Rock Discography'', Canongate, , p. 265 London) is an English musician who was a member of the Spencer Davis Group in the 1960s and later recorded under the alias Beautiful World. Biography Sawyer began his musical career as lead guitarist and vocalist in various bands (Les Fleur de Lys, The Cheynes, with a 15-year-old Mick Fleetwood on drums, and Shotgun Express which also included Fleetwood along with a pre-fame Rod Stewart). At the age of 18, he was one of the two replacements for Steve and Muff Winwood in the Spencer Davis Group, the other being another 18-year-old prodigy, Eddie Hardin. and featured on their album With Their New Face On which featured two minor hits in ''Time Seller'' and ''Mr Second Class'' and ''Don't Want You No More'' later covered by the Allman Brothers Sawyer left the group after a year and was replaced by Ray Fenwick. Les Fleur De Lys
The Fleur de Lys (initially Les Fleur de Lys ) were a British band originally formed in late 1964, in Southampton, Hampshire, England. They recorded singles beginning in 1965 in the transitional Beat to psychedelic music genre, later known as freakbeat. The band had varied line-ups; only drummer Keith Guster was a member throughout their history. The band disbanded in 1969. Keyboardist Pete Sears went on to play with Sam Gopal Dream, and recorded on four early Rod Stewart albums including ''Every Picture Tells a Story'', and was a founding member of Jefferson Starship, going on to play with Hot Tuna for 10 years, and working with artists such as John Lee Hooker, Dr. John, and Harvey Mandel. Miriam Stockley
Miriam Arlene Stockley (born 15 April 1962) is a British singer. She was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and her work is influenced by the African music of her home country. Her distinctive ''vocal warm up#Vocalise, vocalise'' style gained international acclaim when Karl Jenkins launched the ''Adiemus (albums), Adiemus'' project with ''Adiemus: Songs of Sanctuary'', with Stockley as the lead singer.
