Phil Lloyd (actor)
Phil Lloyd is an Australian actor and scriptwriter and partner in the production company Jungleboys. He is best known for his acting role as Myles Barlow in the Australian TV series, ''Review with Myles Barlow'' and the comedy series '' At Home with Julia'', where he played Tim Mathieson, the partner of prime minister Julia Gillard. Phil has been a scriptwriter for a number of years. Since 2004 he has been part of Australian soap opera ''Home and Away's'' core writing team. He also served as an associate script co-producer (a role shared with scriptwriter Faith McKinnon) for about eighteen months. Phil became more well known in 2008 with the debut of Review with Myles Barlow, which he co-wrote with Trent O'Donnell, and starred in as Myles. ''A Moody Christmas'' is an Australian television comedy series that follows the adventures of Dan Moody, who returns home from London to spend each Christmas with his dysfunctional family. The AWGIE Awards is an annual awards ceremony conducted by the Australian Writers' Guild, for excellence in screen, television, stage and radio writing. The awards began in 1967. The awards are judged by over 50 writers, most of whom are previous award winners themselves. They receive no payment for their role as judges. ''Farmkids'' (styled as ''FARMkids'') is an Australian children's computer-animated comedy television series about pampered zoo animals accidentally being shipped to a dude ranch. ''Review with Myles Barlow'' is an Australian satirical black comedy television series which screened on Thursday nights on ABC2 and Friday nights on ABC 1. Trent O'Donnell (born 12 February 1976) is an Australian director, producer and screenwriter. Life and career O'Donnell is a television director and co-owner of the production company Jungle (company), Jungle. ''Home and Away'' (often abbreviated as ''H&A'') is an Australian television soap opera. It was created by Alan Bateman and commenced broadcast on the Seven Network on 17 January 1988.
