Phil Jourdan
Phil Jourdan is an author, musician and publisher based in the UK. His literary work is often experimental in nature, and he has been called "an avant gardist through and through". His first book, ''Praise of Motherhood'', was noted for its unconventional approach to the genre of memoir, as well as Jourdan's refusal to ‘allow the constraints of perspective or chronology to guide the text’ and "painfully honest". Repeater Books is a publishing imprint based in London, founded in 2014 by Tariq Goddard and Mark Fisher, formerly the founders of radical publishers Zero Books, along with Etan Ilfeld, Tamar Shlaim, Alex Niven and Matteo Mandarini. Formation In 2014, after disagreements with their parent company John Hunt Publishing, Zero Books founders Tariq Goddard and Mark Fisher, as well as Matteo Mandarini, editor Alex Niven and publicist Tamar Shlaim, resigned, and formed the new imprint Repeater Books. Paul Gerald Cattermole (born 7 March 1977) is an English singer. He was a member of the group S Club 7, but left the group in 2002. Early life Cattermole was born in St Albans, Hertfordshire. He was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre and appeared in "Pendragon" (1994). He studied theatre. Simon Fuller picked him for S Club 7. Angry Robot is a British-based publishing house dedicated to producing modern adult science fiction and fantasy, or as they call it “SF, F and WTF?!?”. A writing circle is a group of like-minded writers needing support for their work, either through writing peer critiques, workshops or classes, or just encouragement. There are many different types of writing circles or writing groups based on location, style of writing, or format. Normally, the goal of a writing circle is to improve one's own craft by listening to the works and suggestions of others in the group. It also builds a sense of community, and allows new writers to become accustomed to sharing their work. Writing circles can be helpful inside and outside of the classroom. Function A writing circle brings writers from different walks of life together in one place to discuss their work in a workshop style setting.
