Phil Graham (rugby League)
Phillip Graham (born 21 June 1981) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a er and for the Canberra Raiders, Sydney Roosters and the Gold Coast Titans in the National Rugby League, NRL. Playing career Graham played 2 seasons for the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Queensland Cup before being signed by the Canberra Raiders in 2001. Graham won Canberra's rookie of the year award in 2002. In 2005, he was the Raiders' leading try-scorer. He played for City vs Country Origin, Country in the annual City vs Country match in 2007. Graham scored 68 tries in 111 games for Canberra. Graham should have had more tries to his name but his career was plagued by injuries. When fit and healthy, Graham was one of the quickest men in the game and had an uncanny knack of scoring long range intercept tries. 2012 NRL Season
The 2012 NRL season was the 105th season of professional rugby league club competition in Australia, and the first run by the newly formed Australian Rugby League Commission. The main competition, called the 2012 NRL Telstra Premiership due to sponsorship from Telstra Corporation was contested by the sixteen teams of the National Rugby League. The season started with the 2012 NRL All Stars match and culminated in the 2012 NRL grand final. The 2012 Toyota Cup season also took place alongside the Premiership. The McIntyre Final Eight System, in use since 1999, was replaced with the finals system previously used by the ARL in the 1990s. The 2012 Premiership was won by the Melbourne Storm, officially the club's second following the removal of their 2007 and 2009 premierships, among other titles, due to salary cap breaches exposed in April 2010.
