Phil Danaher (American Football)
Philip C. Danaher (born November 23, 1948) is a Texas high school football coach. He is the head football coach at Calallen High School in Corpus Christi, Texas, and is one of only three Texas coaches to reach 400 career wins. Danaher was born in Missouri but shortly afterwards his family moved to south Texas. He played high school football at Harlingen High School, graduated in 1967 and received a football scholarship from Angelo State University. Danaher received his Bachelor of Science in physical education in August 1971. He then became assistant coach at 5A Edison High School in San Antonio. In 1974 Danaher got his first head coaching job in Dilley, Texas, a class 2A school. During his first year, the Wolves won their first district championship in more than a decade and were named regional co-champions. Dilley is a city in Frio County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,894 at the 2010 census. It is located off Interstate 35 south of the county seat in Pearsall. Geography Dilley is located in southern Frio County at (28.670824, –99.169820). Interstate 35 bypasses the city on the west, with access from Exits 82 through 86. James Brown (quarterback)
James Brown (born May 17, 1975) is a former American football quarterback. He was the starting quarterback of the Texas Longhorns from 1994 to 1997. At the time, he was only the second black quarterback to guide Texas through an entire season (after Donnie Little in 1978), and is credited for "opening doors" for future black quarterbacks at Texas, such as Casey Thompson and Vince Young. Shea Brian Morenz (born January 22, 1974) is an American businessman, strategist, philanthropist, and the CEO & President of Morenz Group and Bobcat Group. Morenz played collegiate football and baseball at the University of Texas before being drafted by the New York Yankees organization in the first round of the 1995 Major League Baseball draft. Charles Kenneth Hall (born December 13, 1935) nicknamed "Sugar Land Express", is a former American football player. Playing for the Sugar Land High School Gators (Sugar Land, Texas) from 1950 to 1953, Hall established 17 national football records, several of which still stand. High school Hall's career prep rushing record of 11,232 yards (1950: 569 yd; 1951: 3,160 yd; 1952: 3,458 yd; 1953: 4,045 yd) stood until November 16, 2012, when it was broken by Derrick Henry.
