Phil Burgers
Philip Burgers is an American writer, comedy performer, director and clown teacher. He is best known for his character Dr Brown. Career Burgers began his career in 2007 following training at the French clown school Ecole Philippe Gaulier. His most notable success to date is with the character Dr Brown. Dr Brown is a physical character based in an absurd world. Philippe Gaulier
Philippe Gaulier (born in Paris, 4 March 1943) is a French master clown, pedagogue, and professor of theatre. He is the founder of École Philippe Gaulier, a prestigious French theatre school in Étampes, outside Paris. He studied under Jacques Lecoq in the mid-1960s and was an instructor at L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in the late 1970s. As well as performing as a clown, he is also a playwright and Theatre director, director. He has published ''The Tormentor'' (''Le Gégèneur''), a book discussing his thoughts on the theatre and containing exercises designed to develop an actor's skill. Adelaide Fringe Festival
The Adelaide Fringe, formerly Adelaide Fringe Festival, is the world's second-largest annual arts festival (after the Edinburgh Festival Fringe), held in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) is the largest stand-alone comedy festival and the second-largest international comedy festival in the world. Edinburgh Comedy Award
The Dave's Edinburgh Comedy Awards (formerly the Perrier Comedy Awards, and also briefly known by other names for sponsorship reasons) are presented to the comedy shows deemed to have been the best at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland.
