Pewsey Vale F.C. is a football club based in the village of Pewsey, Wiltshire, England. They play in the Wiltshire Premier League. History The club was formed in 1948, although there is evidence of earlier teams in Pewsey including a club named Pewsey Boys in 1921, and a club called Pewsey Y.M. which entered the FA Cup in 1939, 1945 and 1946. Promoted to the Great Mills League as champions of the Adkey Wiltshire league, Pewsey were one of the first clubs to benefit from the pyramid system by joining the Screwfix League and then Hellenic League Division One West in 2001. The club immediately won promotion to the Premier League after finishing runners up to Hook Norton, before being relegated back to Division One West. Pewsey
Pewsey is a large village and civil parish at the centre of the Vale of Pewsey in Wiltshire, about south of Marlborough and west of London. It is within reach of the M4 motorway and the A303 and is served by Pewsey railway station on the Reading to Taunton line. Wessex Football League
The Wessex Football League is an English association football league formed in 1986, with its premier division currently at the fifth step of the National League System, or the ninth tier of the overall English football league system. The participating clubs are mainly based in Hampshire and Dorset but the league also encompasses clubs from adjoining counties such as Wiltshire, Berkshire, and the Isle of Wight. Hereford United Football Club was an association football club based in Hereford, England. They played at Edgar Street for their entire history. They were nicknamed 'The Whites' or 'The Lilywhites', after their predominantly white kit, or 'The Bulls' after the Hereford cattle breed. They contested A49 derby games with Shrewsbury Town. Murray Fishlock
Murray Edward Fishlock (born 23 September 1973) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League as a left back for Hereford United. Career Fishlock was born in Marlborough, Wiltshire. He began his football career as a junior with Swindon Town, but never appeared for the first team. He left for Gloucester City in 1992, where he made 74 appearances and scored 6 goals in all competitions. He joined Trowbridge Town in order to be nearer home and college, but manager John Layton soon signed him for Third Division club Hereford United. He made his debut in the Football League on 1 October 1994 in a 2–1 home win against Scunthorpe United. He had three seasons in the Football League and one in the Conference with Hereford before moving to Yeovil Town.
