Pettandarulu
''Pettandarulu'' ( Rulers) is a 1970 Telugu-language revolutionary film, produced by U. Visweswara Rao under the Jyothi Cine Syndicate banner, and directed by C. S. Rao. The film starred N. T. Rama Rao, Savitri, Shobhan Babu, Vijaya Nirmala with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. Plot The film begins in a village where its president Jagannadham commits atrocities as a dictator with Sarpanch Butchaiah, Munsif Achaiah, Lakshmipathi, and a clerk Govindaiah. Bhushayya a Samaritan, is Jagannadham's ex-brother-in-law. At present, Bhushayya lives with his second wife Ranganayakamma, and two sons, Suryam progeny of his first wife, and Chandram. Since Suryam is the nephew of Jagannadham, he couples up with his daughter Lakshmi and under his nurture, he turns into debauchery. Chandram is an upright man, who struggles for the welfare of the village and thus becomes an enemy of Jagannadham. Hemalatha (19262019) was an Indian actress of Telugu cinema, of Andhra Pradesh, India. She acted in more than 100 films during the 1950s to 1976. The first movie she acted was Palletooru. She retired from movies in 1976, with ''Seethamma Santhanam'' being the film she last appeared. After retiring from movies, she was involved in Brahma Kumaris movement in Hyderabad till her death. C. Nagabushanam (19 April 1921 – 5 May 1995) was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acted in more than 350 films from the 1950s to the 1980s. He primarily acted in villain and character actor roles. Nagabushanam was a trendsetter in enacting comic villain characters. He was also known by the title “Natabhooshana” (). Kaikala Satyanarayana (25 July 1935 – 23 December 2022) was an Indian actor, producer, director, and politician who predominantly worked in Telugu cinema.
