Joseph Andrew Petree III (born August 15, 1958), is a former NASCAR crew chief, driver, team owner, and broadcaster who has worked as the rules analyst for ''Fox NASCAR'' and the Vice President of Competition at Richard Childress Racing. After racing for years at local short tracks (most notably Hickory Motor Speedway), Petree became part owner of the No. 32 Busch Series car for Dale Jarrett. By the age of 28, Petree was already a Winston Cup Series crew chief on the Leo Jackson racing team. That car was driven by the Bandit Harry Gant. Petree was a color commentator for ESPN and ABC's NASCAR coverage. Gregori Chad Petree (born Shawnee, Oklahoma) is a musician who is best known as co-lead vocalist and guitarist of American new wave/indie/rock band Shiny Toy Guns. He also contributes music for production libraries such as Killer Tracks. Bands Chad's previous bands included: Paradigm, Cloud2Ground, R.R.D.S., Dangerous Insects, and the 90's pop group PC Quest. PC Quest (1990-1992) Chad participated in this band with his brother, Stephen Petree. Paradigm (1995-1998) Stephen Petree and Chad Petree teamed up again for this band and released three albums on Owl Records label. Keats E. Petree (21 September 1919 – 26 November 1997) was an American illustrative artist with significant contributions to both pulp magazines and comic strips in the 1940s and 1950s. His works were primarily in color, as inked strips and both oil and watercolor paintings. Petree's most memorable comic book credits were for the later comic versions of Sally the Sleuth, a pulp comic strip heroine created originally by Adolphe Barreaux in 1934 in ''Spicy Detective Stories'', but his greatest recognition was earned by his pulp color work for the Queenie Starr series, also in ''Spicy Detective Stories''. Nick Scott Petree (born July 16, 1990) is a former American professional baseball pitcher, who last pitched in Minor League Baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals organization. Petree played college baseball for the Missouri State Bears, earning All-American honors in three seasons. College career Petree enrolled at Missouri State University to play college baseball for the Missouri State Bears. After sitting out his freshman year recovering from Tommy John surgery, Petree returned for the 2011 season, going 9-2 with a 2.81 earned run average (ERA), earning Freshman All-American and Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Year honors.
