He competed for Czech Republic at the Alpine skiing at the 2002 Winter Olympics, 2002 Olympics, Alpine skiing at the 2006 Winter Olympics, 2006 Olympics and the Alpine skiing at the 2010 Winter Olympics, 2010 Olympics. Jilemnice (; german: Starkenbach) is a town in Semily District in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 5,400 inhabitants.
