Peter And The Magic Egg
''Peter and the Magic Egg'' is a 1983 animation, animated musical film, musical Easter television special produced by Fred Wolf Films, Murakami-Wolf-Swenson. It is narrated by Uncle Amos the egg, voiced by Ray Bolger. The special aired in syndication on March 23, 1983. This special was produced as a promotional tie-in for Paas (dye), Paas Easter egg dye. Plot The Doppler family, Pennsylvania Dutch farmers, are in debt to Tobias Tinwhiskers. Tobias Toot, a local farmer that successfully mechanized his farm leading to him taking over neighboring farms, the local bank and the town itself, previously had been converted into Tobias Tinwhiskers as he so loved machines, he underwent a procedure to become mechanical altogether himself. Mother Nature sends a baby, Peter Paas, to help the Dopplers out of their desperate situation. Romeo Muller
Romeo Earl Muller, Jr. (August 7, 1928 – December 30, 1992) was an American screenwriter and actor most remembered for his screenplays for the Rankin/Bass holiday specials including ''Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the Snowman and Santa Claus is Coming to Town''. Early years Muller was born in the Bronx, New York, the son of Mildred (Kuhlmann) and Romeo Earl Muller. He was raised on Long Island. His talents in the arts were evident very early on. At age 11, he became a puppeteer at his grade school and eventually he began writing his own plays. His career in theatre began when he joined an acting troupe called "Theater Go Round" in Virginia Beach, Virginia with producer/friend Lesley Savage. The Pennsylvania Dutch ( Pennsylvania Dutch: ), also known as Pennsylvania Germans, are a cultural group formed by German immigrants who settled in Pennsylvania during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.
