Pete Woods
Peter Woods is an American comic book artist, known for his work on titles such as ''Backlash'', ''Deadpool'', '' Robin'', ''Catwoman'', '' Amazons Attack'', and ''Action Comics''. Career Woods worked as an intern for Wildstorm comics in April 1996 working under artist Jim Lee. Here he got his first major comics work filling in on '' Stormwatch'' and ''Wetworks'' in 1996, before getting a short run on ''Backlash'' in 1997. He moved over to Marvel Comics to draw a few issues of ''Excalibur'' before starting a critically acclaimed run on ''Deadpool'' with Joe Kelly. He was then picked up by DC Comics for a four-year stint on '' Robin'', from 2000–2004, followed by an exclusive contract in 2001 and further work in DC titles. Peter Woods (born March 5, 2005) is an American football defensive tackle for the Clemson Tigers. Woods was raised in Alabama and attended Thompson High School, winning four state championships. He was one of the top players in the 2023 college football recruiting class, ranked No. 9 nationally and as the top defensive tackle by ESPN. Peter Anthony Woods (born 21 January 1950) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or left back in the Football League for Southend United and Doncaster Rovers. Life and career Woods was born in 1950 in Sale, which was then in Cheshire. Peter Holmes Woods (7 November 1930 – 22 March 1995) was a British journalist, reporter and newsreader. He was one of the BBC's best known broadcasters of his day. He was the biological father of BBC broadcaster Justin Webb. Early life Born in Romford, Essex, Woods was educated at Hull Grammar School and Imperial Service College, Windsor. Career Woods began his career in print journalism, writing for newspapers including '' The Yorkshire Post'', the ''Daily Mail'' and the '' Daily Mirror,'' with a break for National Service as a commissioned officer in the Royal Horse Guards. In 1956 while a reporter for a British national newspaper Woods dropped by parachute with 3rd Battalion Parachute Regiment and landed under fire at El Gamil Airfield near Port Said during the Suez Crisis. Romeo Void
Romeo Void was an American new wave/post punk band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1979. The band primarily consisted of saxophonist Benjamin Bossi, vocalist Debora Iyall, guitarist Peter Woods, and bassist Frank Zincavage. The band went through four drummers, starting with Jay Derrah and ending with Aaron Smith. The band released three albums, ''It's a Condition'', '' Benefactor'' and ''Instincts'', along with one EP. They are best known for the songs " Never Say Never" and " A Girl in Trouble (Is a Temporary Thing)"; the latter became a Top 40 pop single. The band was started at the San Francisco Art Institute by Iyall and Zincavage.
