Peter Tossol
Peter Anthony Tossol (born 21 November 1962) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He was also a Victorian Country representative in cricket. Melbourne career Tossol, a forward, came to Melbourne from Thornton-Eildon. Tossol kicked goals with his first two kicks in league football, on debut against Richmond in 1982. A former Assumption College captain, Tossol made only five senior appearances that season, but did well in the reserves, finishing at the club's leading goal-kicker. After appearing just twice in the VFL in 1983, Tossol played 10 league games in the 1984 season. His 14 goals in 1984 included four against reigning premiers Hawthorn at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Eildon, Victoria
Eildon is a town in central Victoria, Australia. It is located near Lake Eildon, on the Goulburn Valley Highway, in the Shire of Murrindindi local government area. At the 2016 census, Eildon had a population of 974. The Wangaratta Rovers, officially known as the Wangaratta Rovers Football & Netball Club, is an Australian rules football club based in Wangaratta, Victoria and play in the Ovens & Murray Football League. Their nickname is the Hawks. Their home ground is W.J. Findlay Oval in Wangaratta. Their playing guernsey consists of gold and brown stripes on the front and gold on the back. History Wangaratta Rovers were initially formed in 1923 and competed in the Ovens and King Football League (O&KFL) from 1923 to 1929. The Goulburn Valley Football Netball League is an Australian rules football and netball competition based in the Goulburn Valley region of Victoria, Australia. It is a member of the Victorian Country Football League and has won the Victorian Country Football Championships in 2003 and 2005. History The league was initially called the Goulburn Valley District Football Association(GVDFA) and dates back to May, 1893. Clubs from the townships of Kyabram, Mooroopna, Nagambie, Nathalia, Numurkah, Shepparton, Shepparton Ramblers, Tatura, Undera and Wunghnu were present at the inaugural meeting.
