Lemele
Lemele is a village in the Netherlands, Dutch province of Overijssel. It is a part of the municipality of Ommen, and lies about 20 km northwest of Almelo. History Lemele is an ''Angerdorf, esdorp'' which developed on the foot of the , a remnant of the Last Glacial Period. It was first mentioned between 1381 and 1383 as Lemelo, and means "clay near open forest". In 1840, it was home to 258 people. In 1863, it formed a short-lived municipality with Archem. Tour Of Taihu Lake
The Tour of Taihu Lake is a stage race (cycling), multi-day road bicycle racing, road cycling race held in China annually in November. It has been held since 2010, but the first edition was a one-day race. The 2010 and 2011 editions were rated 1.2 and 2.2, and was upgraded to 2.1 in 2013. Olympia's Tour
The Olympia's Tour is a cycling stage race held in the Netherlands. History A.S.C. Olympia was founded in Amsterdam on 27 November 1898. It ran one-day races but wanted a race through all the Netherlands. The first Olympia's Tour was in 1909, with three stages and one rest day. The second in 1910 went to Maastricht and Groningen. It was 17 years before the third race, partly because races on public roads were forbidden in the Netherlands during the First World War. An international field with 16 Germans, the champions of Switzerland and Luxembourg and around 40 Dutch riders left the Rembrandtplein on 17 August 1927. The Dutch were mainly amateurs, the Germans sponsored riders who rode for bicycle manufacturers such as Opel and Diamant which provided material and a support team. The German Rudolf Wolke won after four stages and 800 kilometres ahead of Janus Braspennincx. It was the last race until 1955. Tour Of Romania
The Tour of Romania (or "Little Loop") is a cycling competition held in Romania. It is organised as 2.1 race on the UCI Europe Tour. History Inspired by Tour de France, the monthly publication "Car Magazine" held in August 1910 the first edition of "Circuit Wallachia". The competition took 12 riders at the start on the route Bucharest–Sinaia–Târgoviște–Butimanu–Bucharest (approximately ). The race lasted for three editions. Since 1934 the newspaper "Daily Sport", in collaboration with Romanian Cycling Federation has organized the Tour of Romania. Romania became the sixth country in the world to organize a National Amateur Cycling Tour, after Belgium (1906), Netherlands (1909), Bulgaria (1924), Hungary (1925) and Poland (1928). Rad Am Ring
The Rad am Ring is a cycle racing festival held annually at the Nürburgring in Germany since 2003.
