Peter Salett
Peter Joseph Salett (born May 12, 1969) is an American singer-songwriter. He is best known as a musician for his song " Heart of Mine" in the movie ''Keeping the Faith'', his song score for the 2006 film '' Down in the Valley'', and for co-writing the Dracula puppet musical finale, "A Taste for Love", in the Judd Apatow produced film, ''Forgetting Sarah Marshall''. Life and career Born in Princeton, New Jersey, Salett moved with his family to Columbia, Maryland when he was four years old. His father, Stan Salett, was a civil rights organizer. While at Harper's Choice Middle School, he was in the same class as Edward Norton. He later attended Brown University, graduating in 1991. Salett has contributed music to numerous films including ''Keeping the Faith'', '' Down in the Valley'', ''The Ten'' and ''Wet Hot American Summer''. ''Superbad'' is a 2007 American coming-of-age teen buddy comedy film directed by Greg Mottola and produced by Judd Apatow. The film stars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera as Seth and Evan, two teenagers about to graduate from high school. Before graduating, the boys want to party and lose their virginity, but their plan proves harder than expected. Written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the script began development when they were 13 years old, and was loosely based on their experience in Grade 12 at Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver during the 1990s. The main characters have the same given names as the two writers. Lawrence Sam “Larry” Goldings (born August 28, 1968) is an American jazz keyboardist and composer. His music has explored elements of funk, blues, and fusion. Goldings has a comedic alter ego known as Hans Groiner. Life and career Goldings was born in Boston. His father was a classical music enthusiast, and Goldings studied classical piano until the age of twelve. While in high school at Concord Academy, he attended a program at the Eastman School of Music. The Stella shorts are a collection of short films by the comedy group Stella. The short films were produced and written by Michael Showalter, Michael Ian Black, David Wain, who also star in the shorts with a number of guest actors. They have gained considerable popularity on the Internet, after initially appearing on CollegeHumor. A collection of the short films, ''Stella Shorts 1998-2002'', was released on DVD in 2002, but is no longer being produced.
