Peter Rangmar
Johan Peter Mikael Rangmar (November 10, 1956 – May 25, 1997) was a Swedish comedian, actor, baritone, writer and television personality who was best known as a member of Galenskaparna och After Shave. Biography Born in Annelund, Rangmar attended the Chalmers University of Technology where he majored in mechanical engineering. After completing his education, he became one of the primary founders of the barbershop quartet After Shave along with Jan Rippe, Knut Agnred and Per Fritzell. In 1982, the group merged with the comedy group Galenskaparna, becoming Galenskaparna och After Shave. They appeared in the television show '' Macken''. As an actor, Rangmar often portrayed temperamental or nervous characters. He has starred in several films alongside Galenskaparna och After Shave such as '' Leif'' and '' The Shark Who Knew Too Much''. Ljung and Annelund () is a locality situated in Herrljunga Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It had 1,215 inhabitants in 2020. The locality was formed by Statistics Sweden from the separate localities of Ljung and Annelund between 2010 and 2015. The locality is home to a train station named Ljung on the Älvsborg Line. Sweden was represented by Blond in the Eurovision Song Contest 1997 with the song "Bara hon älskar mig". Before Eurovision Melodifestivalen 1997 Melodifestivalen 1997 was the selection for the 37th song to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. It was the 36th time that this system of picking a song had been used. 1,229 songs were submitted to SVT for the competition. The final was held in the SVT Studios in Gothenburg on 8 March 1997, presented by Jan Jingryd and was broadcast on SVT2 and Sveriges Radio's P3 network. The show was watched by 2,965,000 people. The winner was chosen by 11 regional juries, being "Bara hon älskar mig" performed by Blond. It was written and composed by Stephan Berg. At Eurovision Heading into the final of the contest, RTÉ reported that bookmakers ranked the entry 12th out of the 25 entries.
