Peter Moyo
Peter "Rio" Moyo (born 8 May 1988) is a Zimbabwean professional footballer, who plays as a midfielder for Harare City. Career Club He started his playing career at the local team Quelaton and earned his first international cap when he played for Highlanders in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League. On 30 May 2014, it was announced that he had signed with Premier Soccer League side Mpumalanga Black Aces in South Africa, along with Ghanaian centre-back Kwabena Adusei. However, Moyo left the Black Aces in December 2014 after failing to appear for the club in any competition. After departing the Black Aces, Moyo signed for Witbank Spurs. International In January 2014, coach Ian Gorowa, invited him to be a part of the Zimbabwe squad for the 2014 African Nations Championship. Bulawayo (, ; Ndebele: ''Bulawayo'') is the second largest city in Zimbabwe, and the largest city in the country's Matabeleland region. 2014 African Nations Championship
The 2014 African Nations Championship was the third African Nations Championship association football, football tournament. The 16 national teams featured players from the respective national championships. The tournament took place between 11 January and 1 February 2014 in South Africa. Originally, the tournament was to be hosted in Libya. This was the first African Nations Championship tournament where all matches were considered full international matches. Hosts South Africa were knocked out in the group stages, which has been attributed to the national league not pausing during the tournament. Many clubs would not release their players. The Telkom Knockout was a South African professional football knockout competition which comprised the 16 teams in the South African Premier Soccer League. The competition was established in 1982 and was first known as the Datsun Challenge. Under the new NSL regime in 1984, it became known as the ''JPS Knockout Cup''. It used this name until 1992 when it became known as the ''Coca-Cola Cup''. The Nedbank Cup is the current name of South Africa's Premier Soccer League, premier club association football, soccer knockout tournament.
