Peter Lovšin
Peter "Pero" Lovšin (born June 27, 1955) is a Slovenian musician, songwriter and singer, best known as a frontman of the first Yugoslav punk rock group ''Pankrti''. After a period with Pankrti in the 1980s, he formed a successful rock band '' Sokoli'' and later continued with a great solo career. He is best known for working with rock music, but also with reggae in the later stages of his 30-year career. He supported the Sex Pistols on their 1996 tour and is now playing with Ivan Kral (Patti Smith, U2). In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he organized several tours with folk rock musicians Vlado Kreslin and Zoran Predin. Among others, they composed the anthem of the Slovenia national football team for the 2000 European Football Championship. The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band formed in London in 1975. Although their initial career lasted just two and a half years, they were one of the most groundbreaking acts in the history of popular music. New wave in Yugoslavia ( sr-Cyrl-Latn, Нови талас, Novi talas; hr, Novi val; sl, Novi val; mk, Нов бран) was the new wave music scene of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. As its counterparts, the British and the American new wave, from which the main influences came, the Yugoslav scene was also closely related to punk rock, ska, reggae, 2 Tone, power pop and mod revival. Punk rock in Yugoslavia was the punk subculture of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The most developed scenes across the federation existed in the Socialist Republic of Slovenia, the Adriatic coast of the Socialist Republic of Croatia, the Socialist Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Belgrade, the capital of both Yugoslavia and the Socialist Republic of Serbia. The 2000 UEFA European Football Championship, also known as Euro 2000, was the 11th UEFA European Championship, a football tournament held every four years and organised by UEFA, the sport's governing body in Europe. Zoran Predin
Zoran Predin (born 16 June 1958) is a Slovenian singer-songwriter from Maribor. In the 1980s, he was the front man of the new wave rock band ''Lačni Franz''. He also writes music for film, television, and theatre. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he went on several tours with the rock singers Pero Lovšin and Vlado Kreslin. Among others, they composed the anthem of the Slovenia national football team for the 2000 European Football Championship. He has also been active in public life. Vlado Kreslin
Vlado Kreslin (born 29 November 1953) is a Slovenian singer-songwriter and folk rock musician. Life and work Kreslin was born in the village of Beltinci in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia, then part of Yugoslavia. He began his musical career in his student years, first coming to acclaim as the lead singer with the rock group ''Martin Krpan''. He later continued playing a mixture of Slovene folk and rock music with the ''Beltinška Banda'', a folk group from his native village, whose other members were all over 70 years old, and the group ''Mali Bogovi''. Both groups (with him) often perform together, mixing several generations onstage together. Patricia Lee Smith (born December 30, 1946) is an American singer, songwriter, poet, painter and author who became an influential component of the New York City punk rock movement with her 1975 debut album '' Horses''.
