Peter Kjær (footballer)
Peter Kjær (born 5 November 1965) is a Danish former professional footballer, current television commentator, and former sporting director of Silkeborg IF. During his active career as a goalkeeper, he played the bulk of his career with Danish clubs Vejle Boldklub and Silkeborg IF. He played for Turkish club Beşiktaş before ending his career with Aberdeen in Scotland, retiring in 2003. He represented the Denmark national team in four matches. Biography Born in Fredericia, he started his senior career at Vejle BK in 1983. He played a total 225 games and scored two goals for the club. He only played one game in the 1991–92 Danish Superliga season, serving as back-up for Boye Habekost, as Vejle were relegated to the Danish 1st Division. He played his last Vejle game in November 1992, before he joined Superliga club Silkeborg IF, making his debut for the team in March 1993. Danish 1st Division
The 1st Division (''1. Division'') is the second-highest football league in Denmark, also known as NordicBet Liga for sponsorship reasons. From 1945 to 1991 the 1. Division was the name of the highest level of football in Denmark. With the formation of the Danish Superliga, the 1st Division became the second tier of Danish football. While all the teams in the Superliga are full-time professional the 1. Division has a mixture of full-time professional and semi-professional teams. Thomas Løvendahl Sørensen (born 12 June 1976) is a retired Danish Association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Sørensen started his career with his local side Odense Boldklub, Odense BK. After impressing on loan at Vejle Boldklub and FC Svendborg, Svendborg he was signed by English side Sunderland A.F.C., Sunderland in 1998. After five years as first-choice goalkeeper on Wearside, he joined Aston Villa F.C., Aston Villa for £2 million. He remained a regular for his time at Villa Park until a fall-out with manager Martin O'Neill saw him dropped and then released in May 2008. Johannes Gandil
Johannes Gandil (21 May 1873 – 7 March 1956) was a Danish amateur footballer who played one game as a striker for the Denmark national team, winning a silver medal at the 1908 Summer Olympics. He also competed at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, as a track and field athlete. Early life He was born in Ringe. Career During his footballing career, Gandil represented the Copenhagen clubs ØB, KB and B 93, in fact he was the main person to introduce football to B 93 as it was originally at cricket club, he also went on to score 81 goals in 82 games and sat on the board for 49 years. Ebbe Skovdahl
Ebbe Skovdahl Hansen (5 July 1945 – 23 October 2020) was a Danish football manager. He most prominently was a successful manager at Brøndby IF, for whom he had also played in his active years. He helped turn the side into the most dominant Danish team in the 1990s, and he also managed the club in several European campaigns with regular successful UEFA Cup runs, and a UEFA Champions League qualification. Christoph Daum
Christoph Paul Daum (born 24 October 1953) is a German professional football manager and former player. Daum played as a midfielder and was a junior for several clubs from the region of Duisburg. He began his senior career with Hamborn 07 and Eintracht Duisburg, before joining 1. FC Köln in 1975 and being part of the reserve team that won the 1980–81 German amateur football championship. As a manager, he won eight trophies with clubs from Germany, Turkey and Austria. Daum began his football career in 1971 in the youth league with Hamborn 07.
