Peter Kane (28 February 1918 – 23 July 1991) was an English flyweight boxer and a world champion in the 1930s. Kane was born in Heywood, Lancashire, on 28 February 1918, but grew up in the town of Golborne, Lancashire, after his family moved there before his first birthday. Eugène Huat
Eugène Huat (8 February 1907 – 15 December 1980) was a French boxer who was champion of France and Europe at flyweight, and fought four times for world titles at bantamweight. Career After making his professional debut in 1926, Huat had some notable wins in his first three years as a pro, beating Maurice Huguenin in January 1927 and November 1928, Rene Chalange in April 1927 and February 1929, Praxille Gydé in November 1927, Kid Oliva in December 1928, and Ernie Jarvis in January 1929. In June 1929 he beat Émile Pladner on points at the Cirque de Paris to win the French and European flyweight titles. Towards the end of the year he travelled to the United States to take part in a tournament to content the vacant NYSAC world flyweight title; Huat beat Corporal Izzy Schwartz, before losing to Eladio "Black Bill" Valdés in the semi-final. Maurice Huguenin
Maurice Huguenin (born 3 November 1909) was a French boxer who won the French flyweight title, and challenged for the European flyweight title on two occasions and the European bantamweight title once. Career Born in Paris, Huguenin made his professional debut in March 1926, losing to Victor Crauc. After mixed results in his first three years as a pro, in 1929 he started a winning run that lasted until 1932, including wins over Joe Mendiola, Italian champion Orlando Magliozzi, Victor Ferrand, and future European champion Praxille Gydé. In the latter half of 1932 he lost twice (to Valentin Angelmann and Kid Oliva), with two drawn fights against Mariano Arilla. James Warnock (1912 in Lurgan – 1987) was a Southpaw boxer from the Shankill Road, Belfast, Ireland. Jimmy Warnock began his early boxing career at Belfast's Chapel Fields in prize fights organised by Clara Copley. Baltasar Berenguer Hervas (October 15, 1911 – September 2, 1992), popularly known in his time as Baltasar Sangchili, was a Spanish boxer who claimed the World Bantamweight Championship. He was the first Spanish fighter in history to win a world championship in boxing.
