Peter Ingham (bishop)
Peter William Ingham (born 19 January 1941) is an Australian bishop. He was the fourth Roman Catholic bishop of the Diocese of Wollongong, serving from 2001 to 2018. From March 2020 until Dec 2020, he served as apostolic administrator of the Diocese of Broome. Early years Ingram was born in Crows Nest, New South Wales, to George and Marjorie (née Hyndes) Ingham. His early education was completed at St Leonard's Primary School in Naremburn and St Pius X College in Chatswood. He studied for the priesthood at St Columba's Seminary in Springwood and St Patrick's Seminary, Manly, He was as a priest by Cardinal Gilroy at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney, on 18 July 1964. Ingham served as an assistant priest in Rosebery, Newtown, St Mary's and Auburn South (all New South Wales). He was the private secretary to Cardinal Freeman and secretary of the Archdiocese of Sydney. Ingham was nominated as a monsignor by Pope John Paul II in 1986. Peter Ingham (cricketer)
Peter Geoffrey Ingham (28 September 1956 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England) is an English batsman, who made eight first-class appearances for Yorkshire County Cricket Club between 1979 and 1981, scoring 290 runs with a top score of 64, at an average of 20.71. In thirteen one-day games he averaged 45.85, with a top score of 87 not out. In cricket beneath first team level – namely Second XI and Under 25, Ingham scored over 1,000 runs for Yorkshire in 1979 and 1981. Ingham won The Cricket Society Wetherall Award for the Leading All-Rounder in English Schools Cricket in 1974 and, after his time at Yorkshire finished, he played for Northumberland in the Minor Counties. This is a list of characters that were introduced in CBBC's ''The Story of Tracy Beaker''. The series is based on the book of the same name by Jacqueline Wilson. It ran on for five series from 2002 to 2005. The series was followed by ''Tracy Beaker Returns'' that ran for three series from 2010 to 2012 and then ''The Dumping Ground'' that has aired since 2013. Connor Byrne has played the role of Mike Milligan for all three programmes although he left at the end of ''The Dumping Grounds seventh series. Peter Ingram
Peter John Ingram (born 25 October 1978) is a former New Zealand cricketer, who played for Central Districts. He is a right-handed batsman primarily, and is an occasional right arm off spin bowler. He is the fastest male cricketer to earn his first cap in all three formats of international cricket, doing so in the space of twelve days. His batting style is akin to Virender Sehwag, with minimal foot movement, and he has credited Sehwag to helping his batting improve. Early life Whilst being a talented cricketer, Ingram was also considered to represent his hometown in rugby. However, he gave up rugby when he broke his jaw during a trial. Domestic career Ingram has played for the Central Stags since 2001, becoming an integral part of an opening pair, with Jamie How.
